Greetings and Warm Felicitations! In behalf of the Association for Local Colleges and Universities-Commission on Accreditation (ALCUCOA), we support you in your journey! It is but a milestone for the Association for Local Colleges and Universities-Commission on Accreditation (ALCUCOA) and the Iloilo City Community College (ICCC) to celebrate the successful achievements, programs and services of the ICCC since its foundation through its 2014 Profile Book. There is a marriage between the ideals of the ALCUCOA and the ICCC which culminates in realizing a shared responsibility for good quality education for the 21st Century in public higher education. The various modalities in innovative education as exemplified by the leadership of your President, ensures that the quality of education in the ICCC has emerged to be one of the brightest in the Region. Similar to what we have achieved in the University of Makati (UMak) and other local colleges and universities, the ALCUCOA supports the endeavours of the ICCC in achieving good quality education since its foundation in the years to come. With the changing times, comes the opportune time for all of us to shine. Now is the time for us to promote our creativity and innovation through the outcomes based approach. With the advent of the K to 12 program in the country in 2016, the challenge for all LCU’s today is to adopt to the competencies required by the changing global and local environment. In citing the vision that is common to LCU’s let us remember that “The LCUs shall be the leading higher educational institutions which shall serve the children of the less privileged constituents of LGUs by producing responsible and productive citizens able to adapt to the changing needs and demands of the local and global communities for social transformation.” Again, more power to the Management, faculty members, employees, students, parents and industry partners of the Iloilo City Community College (ICCC)!
